The W&SMI will identify, recruit, and educate candidates for management positions in commercial beverage management. The Institute, through the collaborative goal setting of our beverage industry partners, will identify and teach the skills required for successful careers in commercial beverage management.

From their first day on the job, our graduates will be prepared for hands-on, commercial responsibility for the marketing and sale of spirits and wine in all tiers of the industry.

Our goal is to execute a program that will provide graduates with a competitive advantage in their career — knowledge that is specific to the alcoholic beverage industry.
